Return Policy
Due to the nature of our jewellery and for hygiene reasons, we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind.
Faulty items
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item is faulty or defective.
If you believe your item is faulty, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return due to fault:

the item must be returned in its original condition

the item must be unworn and unused

the item must be returned in original packaging
-
proof of purchase is required
Items that show signs of wear or use are not eligible for return.
What is not considered a fault
The following are not considered faults under Australian Consumer Law:

general wear and tear
-
tarnishing due to wear or exposure to perfumes, lotions, water, sweat, or chemicals

accidental damage or misuse
-
damage occurring after the item has been worn
-
change of mind
Hygiene
For hygiene reasons, earrings and worn jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return process
To request a return, please contact us at forrestandmae@gmail.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
If your return is approved:
-
return shipping is at the buyer’s expense
-
return instructions and the return address will be provided once approved
-
our return location may change as we are a travelling brand
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at forrestandmae@gmail.com.
